Brookline Early Education Program

BEF grants support the Brookline Early Education Program’s mission of providing an inclusive environment where all children from ages three to five can learn social competency, develop cognitive, motor and language skills, and expand their understanding of themselves and the world in which they live.

In addition to its grant program, since 2009, the BEF has supported yearlong music programs in every BEEP classroom through the BEEP Fund. These programs will continue in the 2018 – 2019 school year.

GRANTS AWARDED TO BEEP EDUCATORS FOR 2019 - 2020:

COLLABORATIVE GRANTS

Collaborative Grant for the 2020 American Occupational Therapy Association Annual Conference
The entire Occupational Development Department of the Public Schools of Brookline will attend the annual AOTA conference, which conveniently takes place in Boston. This is a rare opportunity for the entire department to participate in professional development that is specifically for their field, and allows the therapists to stay up to date on the latest clinical and educational practices, and evidence-based treatment and evaluation techniques.
Participants from BEEP: Constance Kumi Wauthier, Jocelyn Hesse, Merrill Forman

Grants from recent years

Each year, BEEP educators participate in critical professional learning made possible by BEF grants. The coming school year will be no different, with a particular emphasis on the science of early childhood learning, technology, as well as administrative leadership.
